The Chinese American Information Storage Society (CAISS) is a non-profit organization founded by the Chinese American professionals from the digital data storage industry in 1995 (Federal Tax ID #141-89-6744). Our mission is to promote technology and business development opportunities in data storage industry. We also provide education and fellowship to facilitate members' career and professional development goals through conferences and seminars which cover technology, management, entrepreneurship and business development. The CAISS community also provides opportunities of networking among Chinese American professionals in the industry through various business and social activities. CAISS now has approximately 400 to 500 registered members working in the California bay area (Silicon Valley) and additional chapters in Minnesota and Colorado.
